2003: Due to scheduling conflicts, Lead Guitarist
and producer Nat Kingsley will not be able to rock with Jibboo
live until further notice. Rising to the occasion is Rob Wagner,
long time friend of Jibboo and accomplished solo guitarist
and songwriter in his own right. Nat will remain to produce
the next album, manage the website, co-write with Jibboo,
record guitars, backup vocals, and trumpets as neccesary.
JIbboo will spend the coming weeks preparing for a massive
tour of New York, so look out for Jibboo LIVE in a city near you or watch out for advertisements in posters or in poker clubs! Check back frequently for your updates.
October
2003: Jibboo is on its way to Chicago to Play the
Energy
Castle Band Club Show Saturday
October the 18th. Although the whole band won't
be able to attend, Jibboo will be performing special arrangements
of new and older material. The new songs for the upcoming
album are coming together nicely and Jibboo plans to start
laying down tracks this winter.
Febuary
2002: Saylor Brothers Entertainment has expressed
their interest in the Jibboo tune 'Teetotaler Possum' (Track
4 off 'lazyeyesore'). If all goes
well, that song will be featured along with 'Carapace' in
the upcoming motion picture, 'Almost Time'. Carapace is also
featured in the trailer for the movie. View it by clicking

Late
January 2002: It's official! Steve Lamb, former leadman
for Westchester punk banks '3 Time Loser' and 'Drive-Bye Shy
Girl", has agreed to join Jibboo, lending both his guitar
and his voice. He will begin playing with the band when Jibboo
assembles over the summer and fall of 2002. He will also be
featured on the upcoming albulm.
Early
January 2002: Negotiations begin with Saylor Brothers
Entertainment and an agreement is signed that will include
Jibboo song 'Carapace' in an upcoming film entitled 'Almost
Time.' The movie is in post production and
release dates are unknown at this point. There have also been
talks of a
possible soundtrack.
December
2001: Dylan has completed the groundwork for Jibboo's
second albulm to be recorded in 2002. The follow-up release
to 'lazyeyesore' will contain 13 tracks and tentitive titles
include 'Mr. Manatee', 'Fainting in Coils...', and 'Ultraviolet
with MealWorms'.
August
2001: Jibboo's website established and response to
the music was almost immediate.
June
2001: Jibboo's first full-length release, 'lazyeyesore'
is completed. The CD recorded by Nat and Dylan at K&P
Studios in Potsdam, NY was later mastered in Long Island by
Chris Fasulo, and 500 copies were printed.
